Troubleshooting

How do I replace door rollers or runners on a shower enclosure?

Rollers enable the smooth operation of our sliding shower doors. Over time, they may seize or wear flat, causing grinding or sticking. If your sliding door is dragging or scraping, is creating a grinding noise or appears unevenly aligned, the following steps can help to remedy the issue:

  1. Lift the door off its tracks (usually by depressing the spring clips on the bottom rollers)
  2. Unscrew the old rollers from the glass panel
  3. Clean the mounting holes and edges of the glass
  4. Fit new rollers using the supplied washers and screws – do not overtighten
  5. Re-hang the door, ensuring the rollers sit properly in the top and bottom tracks
  6. Adjust the tension or height if necessary so the door glides easily

New rollers can be purchased from our spares website.

Lubricate the rollers periodically with silicone spray to extend their life.
